The Centre continues to expand the dermatology nursing service to support residents with skin conditions living in the nursing homes.

On 1st June 2016, Bright Hill Evergreen Home (BHEH) a non-profit nursing home housing more than 200 residents, became the fourth nursing home collaborating with NSC to improve skin care of their residents. BHEH is one of the intermediate long-term care facilities that had successfully implemented electronic medical record (EMR) into their system. In the coming year, NSC’s nursing team will be working closely with the BHEH’s nursing team to leverage on their EMR to evaluate the outcome of residents’ skin conditions.

To date, almost 400 residents with poor skin conditions and more than 150 nursing care staff from the four nursing homes have benefited from the dermatology nursing service provided by NSC.
